Norman was not always a believer and he made mistakes before he knew the Lord which he regretted.  He always desired to be restored to his daughters whom he loved, Susan and Sharon.  He prayed for both of them and loved them, though in his blindness he had brought them great pain.  His heart was to see God’s best for them both and to share that love that so changed his heart.

Norman gave me so many stories through his good sense of humor and our times together.  I remember one pastors conference, Norman was making fun of this rather big bass player and how he rocked when he played.  Norman played the bass.  There were 500 men at the conference and who do you think Norman had to share a bed with, that bass player.  We laughed!  God has a sense of humor and so did Norman.  I also remember when Norman reached out to the head of his company whose son was being destroyed by drugs & tearing up the family.  This simple act of love resulted in the rescue of the son and brought spiritual life into the whole family, it was amazing!

We thank God for Norman’s life and the work the Lord did through him.  I will miss my friend!
